The last few months have seen me out and about taking pictures mainly with my new 500mm lens. This is a heavy beast weighing in at nearly 3.8kg, and I have had to invest in a large rucksack to enable me to carry it long distances ! However, it has been worth it, the quality is superb - producing clean and crisp images as can be seen with the Long Eared Owl below.

A short while ago, I was asked to be the photographer at a special wedding service to renew the wedding vows on a couples 40th anniversary ! Fortunately, on the day it was nice and sunny and we had a great time. Many congratulations to the bride and groom - again !
I have also had a picture published on the front cover on the Spring issue of ‘Thatch’, a local magazine promoting the work of the rural community in Somerset. A second image was also selected for an article reviewing a new book called 'The Somerset Wetlands'.
As my library of images grows, I will be restructuring some of the galleries to make it easier to find and add images. I have also included a last updated page where you can see what the recent changes are, so please keep visiting !
I shall be looking forward to the next few months in anticipation as this is my favorite time of year. I already have several projects lined up, but one never knows what might come along, so watch this space !
